This Black Silicone Brush has a beautiful and ergonomic NewBoo handle and silicone head. Silicone head will resist temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, so you need not worry about using it while grilling foods or cooking stovetop. The handle is constructed of NewBoo, a lovely, distinctive and ecologically responsible material. NewBoo is made entirely from rapidly renewable bamboo, this newly developed material is completely "tree free", yet it invokes the warmth and beauty of European olive wood or an exotic tropical hard wood ... all the sophisticated aesthetics yet none of the guilt. Originally developed for use as railroad ties in China, from this humble beginning Totally Bamboo recognized its potential and has refined the manufacturing process to its current form. Utilizing a specially developed system of heating pulverized bamboo fiber, it is then extremely compressed, permanently fusing it together utilizing a food safe, formaldehyde free adhesive to form a void-free block from which Totally Bamboo's NewBoo products are made. Utensil features a convenient eyelet allowing utensil to be hung from a rack or hook.
